Driving Directions, Maps and Information Signs

Signs giving directions to HLPOA points of interest are located at all major intersections. A "Neighborhood Crime Watch" is in affect as well as Deputies on Patrol.

Driving Directions
Take US36 West to the small town of Groveland and turn south on County Road 725 East. You may turn left (East) onto County Road 600 North, County Road 500 North, or stay on County Road 725 East, which will take you to Heritage Drive. Heritage Drive makes a complete elongated circle of Heritage Lake (approximately 8 miles). There are directional signs around Heritage Drive which will point you to the major areas of interest.

Bear in mind that County Roads in Hendricks and Putnam Counties are Numbered in relationship to mileage and direction from the County Seat. Danville is the County Seat for Hendricks County (East of Heritage Lake) and Greencastle is the County Seat for Putnam County. Heritage Lake lies diagonally in a general Southwest to Northeast direction. Putnam County has an approximate population of 30,000 people. Hendricks County has a population of approximately 100,000.....
