Emergency direction numbers were established to assist emergency vehicles in locating your home or lot. All road intersections within Heritage Lake have a letter or number attached to the existing road sign. Click on the link above to locate your emergency direction number.  Emergency direction numbers are also listed in the Heritage Lake Telephone directory (if you cannot locate your number contact the POA Office at (765)386-7447).

The Floyd Township Fire Department is the primary service for Heritage Lake.   The two secondary fire departments that serve Heritage Lake are Bainbridge Fire Department on the north part of the lake and the Fillmore Fire Department on the south part of the lake. These are volunteer fire fighting organizations which provide year-round service at no cost.  Each Fire Department holds fundraisers to help with the cost of equipment, etc.

Police Protection

In an emergency call 911. Police protection is available from the Sheriff’s Department of Putnam County.
