The Heritage Lake Clean-Up Committee was organized in 1997 to help keep the roadways on and around Heritage Lake litter free. They sponsor two lake wide clean-ups each year and a once a year clean-sweep to help POA residents dispose of large household items, paper materials, tires, paint, appliances, books, etc. Residents are also encouraged to collect aluminum products and take them to the maintenance building to be sold by the committee. The money is used to purchase whatever is needed to maintain their committee. Each subdivision is represented by at least one resident but more are always welcome. These members are “watchdogs” for their areas and report problems to the committee. The committee then tries to help with a solution to these problems. A complete set of the Heritage Lake Cleanup Policy (#2150) is on file at the POA Office for your own reference.
