The A&E Committee verifies through documentation as well as visually that all structures built and maintained within the six subdivisions of Heritage Lake meet the guidelines set forth by the Restrictive Covenants, Required Documents and Policies. They also recommend Policies to the HLPOA Board of Directors for the purpose of implementing their directives. Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the clubhouse. The A&E Committee must approve any structure, including but not limited to, houses, docks, decks, porches, boathouses, boatlifts, shoreline excavation, garages, inground swimming pools, gazebos, pet enclosures or fences that are constructed on Heritage Lake property. According to the Heritage Lake Restrictive Covenants all structures must be approved before they are built. Plans which need approval must be submitted as per the appropriate required document, to the POA Office by 3:00 p.m. the Thursday before the meeting. Again, these required documents are available at the POA Office. Additional functions and responsibilities of the A&E Committee are detailed in of the Heritage Lake Restrictive Covenants. We welcome anyone interested in joining the A&E Committee. A property owner must attend three (3) consecutive meetings before their name can be presented to the POA Board of Directors for approval as a regular member of the committee.
